Holly Miller 

Holly started taking dance lessons when she was 3 years old. She is trained in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and pointe, and she has also taken classes in hip-hop and clogging.  Throughout her dance career, she has received many awards competing throughout the years, including top honors at the Regency National Competition.  Holly started assisting teachers in 1992 and started teaching her own classes in 1994.  She mainly taught classes for the 2-9 year old students and was considered the Pre-School Dance Instructor for a local dance studio.  After 12 years of teaching, in 2006, she decided to take a break. 

Holly also taught dance, gymnastics, pre-school cooking, and various arts and crafts classes for 12 years, Terrific Two’s Preschool teacher for 4 years, 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s Assistant Preschool Teacher for 2 years, and the Kickapoo Kids Camp Director for 1 year at the Franklin Parks and Recreation. 

She is an Honors Graduate of Franklin College with a BA in K-12 Physical Education and a Minor in Health Education. Holly was a teacher at Custer Baker Middle School, teaching Health and Wellness and coached the 7^th and 8^th grade cheerleading squads for 2 years. She currently is an Administrative Assistant at Franklin United Methodist Community.

Her husband, Tony, and her have 2 boys—Jayce and Jacob who love spending time at the dance studio.  Jayce is 5 and will start Kindergarten in August.  Jacob will be 2 in May.  Jayce has started gymnastics and is improving each week!

When Holly is not teaching, she loves scrapbooking—She is a Creative Memories Consultant. Holly hosts monthly crops and a yearly event called Scrap Pink to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
