Courtney Deem Courtney is a dance and gymanstics instructor at Style. She has been dancing since the age of five. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, pom, gymnastics, and clogging. She began her training at Dance Plus Studio where she competed in the performing company. She furthered her training at Style Dance Academy as part of the performing company. As a student at Style, Courtney has received several scholarships to dance workshops and conventions across the midwest including Art of Dance of Indianapolis, Youthdance of Chicago, Dance Directive of Chicago, and Broadway Dance Center in New York City. She has traveled all across the country competing in dance competitions and has received several solo and group overall awards including Miss Teen Dance of Indiana and Miss Broadway. Courtney has also been named a National Dance Association All-American multiple times and a National Cheer Association All-American during her middle school and high school years. Courtney is a 2007 graduate from Edinburgh Community High School. She is currently part of the class of 2011 at Franklin College majoring in Sociology and Criminal Justice. She is part of the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. She has served as a leader in her individual sorority as well as a leader in the greek community. Courtney is also a member of the Rho Lambda, the National Sorority Leadership Recognition Society.
